- Abstract:
- For the purpose of improving the development of soy based infant formula in China,it introduced history and current research status of soy based infant formula in China and developed countries,including soy protein isolate,other nutrients and related standards and regulations.The safety problem on allergenicity and phytoestrogens of soy based infant formula were ascertained from the aspects of soy allergen classification and major allergens,the in vivo metabolism,absorption and toxicity level.The safety may be improved by suitable technologies,which would provide basis for soy based infant formula processing.
