In order to promote seed germination and break dormancy of wild soybean, 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrogen peroxide, hot water bath at 80 ℃ and wounding were used to study their effects on seed germination index, biomass and water absorption law of wild soybean. The results showed that the germination potential, germination rate and germination index of soybean seeds treated with scuffing were the highest, which was significantly superior to those of other treatments, followed by 98% concentrated sulfuric acid for 10 min. The lowest values of hypocotyl length were obtained by scuffing treatment, radicle length and fresh weight by 98% concentrated sulfuric acid for 10 min, mildew rate by water bath at 80 ℃, and hardness rate by scuffing treatment. The ’S’ curve of seed weight after treatment and control was obvious. The turning point of seed weight from the initial absorption period to the delay appeared in 9 h after 98% concentrated sulphuric acid treated for 10 min, 12 h after hydrogen peroxide treated for 15 min, 9 h after 80 ℃ water bath for 5 min, 6 h after scratched, 15 h in contrast. The turning point from the delay to the period of re-absorption of large amounts of water appeared in the 24, 27, 27, 24 and 30 h respectively in the five treatments. The seed sprouting earliest under the treatment of scuffing and 98% concentrated sulfuric acid treated. The activities of SOD and POD were higher under the treatment of 98% concentrated sulfuric acid for 10 min and 80 ℃ water bath, while the activities of endopeptidase and soluble protein were higher under the treatment of burn and 98% concentrated sulfuric acid for 10 min. Generally, the treatment of scuffing is the best way to relieve seed coat obstacle dormancy of wild soybean, followed by 98% concentrated sulfuric acid for 10 min.
