Abstract:
Maconellicoccus hirsutus(Green) was a new pest of soybean in Southern China.The toxicity of Chlorpyrifos, Omethoate, Methidathion, Abamectin and Acetamiprid to different instar nymphs and adult female of Maconellicoccus hirsutus were measured by using leaf dipping method under the laboratory conditions to study the chemical prevention and control technology.The results showed that the sensitivity to the five insecticides was different Chlorpyrifos had the best control effect on first and third instar nymphy, the LC-50 values were 0.111 9 and 0.568 1 mg·L-1,respectively Methidathion had the best control effect on second instar nymphy, the LC-50 value was 0.212 6 mg·L-1?Abamectin had the best control effect on female adult, the LC-50 value was 11426 2 mg·L-1. The 1st instar nymph period was the best time to control the pest and the Chlorpyrifos and Methidathion had better effect.
