Abstract:
Phomopsis longicolla is the primary cause of Phomopsis seed decay(PSD)in soybean. The pathogen can seriously affect soybean yield and seed quality. The effect of soybean germination and infection site was explored by seed inoculating the pathogen in lab test. The results showed that Phomopsis longicolla significantly reduced seed germination potential and germination rate. The site of infection included seed coat, cotyledon and embryo of soybean. It seriously affects seed vigor.
