Abstract:
Soybean isoflavones is a kind of estrogen,mainly exists in legumes.Recently studies have shown that it has many biological activities and pharmcological properties,such as antioxidant,anti-cancer,preventing osteoporosis,menopausal syndrome and cardiovascular protection,and so on.The injury of endothelial cells may lead to cell damage defense system,reduce the ability of scavenging oxygen free radicals and decrease the enzyme activity.Soybean isoflavone has the ability of anti peroxidation and repair the injury of endothelial cells.In this paper,the protection and mechanism of soy isoflavones on injured endothelial cell was summarized,and provided more material basis for the development of new endothelial cell protection drugs and clinical research.
