- Abstract:
- ?The data including batch,quantity,quality(oil,moisture,foreign material,broken,damaged kernels,heat damaged kernels)and quarantine of imported genetically modified(GM)soybean from different countries from 2002 to 2011 in Fangchenggang Port were analyzed.Results showed the GM soybean were mainly imported from Brazil,the United States and Argentina,and the rate of quarantine weeds up to 100%.The quality of GM soybean was stable,while the soybean imported from the United States carried much extraneous material and most of the indexes were out of the gauge according to the trade contract. Based on the differences of inspection and quarantine results,we put forward some suggestions for the management of imported genetically modified soybean.
