Abstract:
This experiment analyzed the genetic regularity of soybean lodging and the correlations with main agronomic characters,using 270 soybean germplasm collected from south of China.The results indicated that both additive effect and dominance effect were significant,and dominance effect was more important than additive effect.The narrow-sense heritability and broad-sense heritability of lodging were 14.3% and 90.3%,respectively.The correlation analysis showed that lodging was positively correlated(P<0.01)with plant height,bottom pods height,nodes on main stem and branch number,and negatively with yield per unit area(P<0.05),100-seed weight and grain weight per plant(P<0.01),respectively.The improvement of lodging would be effective by selecting plant height early generation,which had higher narrow and broad sense heritability.The germplasm was divided into four groups according to the correlated agronomic traits with lodging resistance,using the method of cluster analysis.And the materials of the fourth group had weak lodging and higher feed yield potential.
