Abstract:
Experiments were conducted to research the effects of sowing time on yield and agronomic characters of soybean intercropping with cassava in 2010 and 2011.The results indicated that under fixed sowing time of soybean,cassava sowing time had no significant influence on soybean yield and main agronomic characters.When the soybean and cassava was sown at the same time,along with the sowing time delay,the soybean growth period became shorter,plant height increased,branch numbers decreased,pods and seeds per plant reduced,but had no significant effect on fat content.The yield and protein content of soybean sown on April 5 was lower than other treatments significantly.The soybean yield,main agronomic characters and comprehensive benefits were better when soybean and cassava were sown before March 25th.
