Abstract:
Response surface methodology(RSM)was used to study the effects of feed moisture content,screw rotation speed and extruding cylinder temperature on motor torque.Experiment results indicated that moisture content of soybean meal,screw rotation speed and extruding cylinder temperature had significant influence on motor torque,in which screw rotation speed was main factor affecting extrusion index.Optimal extrusion criteria were achieved with moisture content of soybean meal 17.2%,screw rotation speed 202.5 r·min-1 and extruding cylinder temperature 110℃.
