Abstract:
In this research,the soybean genetic male sterile line ms6 and the cytoplasmic male sterile line JLCMS9 were used to investigate the effects of nine chemical control agents and their combinations on the hybrid soybean seed production.The results showed that Atonik,which had a particular effect on yield improvement of the female parent,could significantly increase the pod-bearing and seed-setting rate of the two soybean male sterile lines by 28.3% and 21.4%,reach to 43.9% and 36.4%,respectively.Investigation on various combinations of the nine chemical control agents showed that mixture mainly containing Atonik(Atonik+Sodium borate+Potassium dihydrogen phosphate and Bees attractant+Atonik+Sodium borate+Potassium dihydrogen phosphate)had better effects on two sterile lines with significantly higher pod-bearing rate and seed-setting rate than the CK.We also found that when the bee attractants was mixed with other chemical control agents,the mixture could increase seed production more effectively than only used bee attractants.
