Abstract:
Based on the field resistance surveys, the resistance of 142 soybean varieties to Xanthomonas campestris pv. glycines strain S1 was identified by spray method and friction method, respectively. The results showed that there were significant resistance differences. For the tested varieties, in which,24 high resistant varieties accounting for 16.9%of the total and 19 medium resistant varieties accounting for 13.4%were identified. The study also showed that the cultivars from Jiangsu, Beijing and northeast China were more resistant to Xanthomonas campestris pv. glycines than those from other regions. These varieties (lines) could be used in soybean resistance breeding.
