Abstract:
The protein and oil contents in the seeds of soybean germplasm grown in Northeast China were analyzed by near-infrared grain analyzer. The investigation showed that the average protein, oil and total protein-oil contents of soybean germplasm had little difference among years, and the genetic diversity of protein content was highest. Oil content order among provinces was Heilongjiang>Jilin>other regions. Protein content and total protein-oil content order among provinces were both other region>Jilin>Heilongjiang. Early maturing group had an advantage in oil content, but late and middle maturing groups had an advantage in protein and total protein-oil content. The relation of protein and oil content had a significantly negative difference. The relationship between total protein-oil and protein content showed a significantly positive difference with the correlation coefficient stability above 0.97. Total protein-oil and oil content appeared a significantly negative correlation except in late maturing group. Correlation of soybean quality and agronomic traits was not stable among different maturing groups. Eighty-nine varieties with high-oil and 3 varieties with high-protein were screened.
