Abstract:
A split-plot design with the planting densities as main plot and N-fertilizer levels as sub-plot was adopted. The effects of planting densities and N-fertilizer levels on yield and quality of Jiyu35 were studied in the farm of Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities in 2007~2008. The results showed that planting densities and N-fertilizer levels affected the plant dry matter accumulation by leaf area index dynamics and chlorophyll dynamics, which affected the yield and quality at last. The yield increased and then decreased with the increasing of planting densities and increased with the increasing of N-fertilizer levels. The fat content was sensitive to planting densities and decreased with the increasing of planting densities, while protein content showed negative trend. The fat and protein contents were not sensitive to N-fertilizer levels.
