Abstract:
This paper discussed the rapid determination on fatty acids content by gas chromatography in soybean, which justsaponificate and Methyl esterificate the lipids from grinding soybean seeds directly without having to extract lipids from soybean, then get the gas chromatography determination by chromatography column HP519091J-413. The time of peak value of palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid was6.57, 7.83, 8.73, 8.86, 9.06 min, respectively. The method proved to be time and material saving, and easy to operate.The method also helpful for soybean acids determination in early generation for it only needs few samples.
