Abstract:
The shortage of water has been the main factor that limits the yield of soybean.Understanding the growing law of soybean under the condition of water stress is of great importance to improve soybean yield.The effect of water stress at seedling on organ equilibrium and yield of soybean was studied under pot experiment with two soybean sister lines Liao 51064 and Liao 51095.The proportion of dry matter distributed to each organ in different growth period varied with the strength of water stress.Under medium water stress,the organ equilibrium in the harvesting time was:seed>root>pod shell>leaf>stem>petiole,and the leaf,grain and petiole for the two sister lines of Liao 51064 and Liao 51095 accounted for 16.31% and 15.28%,25.83% and 28.92%,6.27% and 4.85% of total biomass,which showed that it was helpful to improve the balance between “the source and sink”.Under medium water stress,the correlation coefficient of biological yield and economic yield was highest(0.9956)for Liao 51059.The soybean yield under normal water supply and medium water stress also significantly higher than that of heavy water stress.
