Abstract:
With Peking immature cotyledon as explants,key factors that affecting somatic embryogenesis were evaluated.The results showed that pH = 7.0,explant size of 2-3 mm and dark culture conditions were beneficial for the occurrence of somatic embryogenesis,which was proved efficient for somatic embryogenesis.One hundred and fifty F5:6recombinant inbred lines derived from Peking×Keburi was cultured with inducing medium for embryogenesis.The results showed that frequency distribution was discrete,suggesting that embryogenesis was controlled by few genes.Meanwhile,the impact of Keburi on embryogenesis efficiency was higher that that of Peking.
