Abstract:
Soy isoflavones have weak estrogen and multiple physiological activities. The risk of estrogen- related diseases in postmenopausal women is increased.Isoflavones could prevent osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, obesity and breast cancer in postmenopausal women. This paper reviewed the effects of soy isoflavones on cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, obesity and breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
