Abstract:
In order to elucidate the dynamics of water content and the water use efficiency(WUE) in soybean field in arid and semi-arid area of Inner Mongolia,a systematic research was conducted with 3 different film mulching methods,separately were covering film between rows(CFBR),covering film on rows(CFOR) and no film covering(NFC).The research result indicated that the order of the effect of film mulching on soybean WUE were CFBR > CFOR > NFC.Water amount in 0~100 cm soil layer had a seasonal change,which could be described as soil water consuming stage(seedling to branching),mass-consuming stage(branching to podding) and slow-resuming stage(podding to maturing).The dynamic of soil water in the whole growth stage of soybean under different film mulching methods had a similar law of reducing -increasing-reducing dynamical curve,but there were some differences among treatments in certain growth stages.
