Abstract:
This article introduced the progresses of strain breeding,solid and liquid fermentation and purification in nattokinase production.Various studies on fermentation conditions and breeding efforts to boost nattokinase production were reviewed,and the application of separation techniques for nattokinase extraction,such as expanded bed adsorption,immobilized metal affinity partition,reverse micelles extraction and magnetic bead separation were also summarized.
