Abstract:
In this study,cumulative process of fatty acids in soybean cultivar Zhongdou 8 was analyzed during seed development.The results indicated that there were six fatty acid components at the early stage of soybean seeds developing while five at the mature stage.Linoleic acid and oleic acid accounted for 80% of the total fatty acids in mature seeds.C16∶1 disappeared in the halfway of seed growth.Z-shape was observed when studying the change pattern of the total fatty acids amounts during seed development.During soybean seed development,oleic acid and linoleic acid were accumulated simultaneously and highly positive correlation was found.It is considered that oleic acid and linoleic acid play a dominant role in fatty acid compositions in soybean seeds,so it presumed SAD and FAD2 maybe play a decisive role in the oil content of soybean.
