Abstract:
Soybean, grown in solution culture for 7 weeks, had been used to study the effect of P on nodu-lation under two nitrogen sources. At all harvest time, nodule number of nitrogen fixation increased with Psupply in solution further increased, especially , at 6th week , nodule number reached a maximum. In con-trast , that of nitrate treatment was less than that of nitrogen fixation treatment , but nodule number reach a maximum at 16μmol /L P. These suggested that nitrate inhibited soybean nodula-tion so that nitrogen fixed decreased. Therefore , nitrogen concentration of plant in nitrate treatment de-creased with P further increased, but that of nitrogen fixation is opposite. The ration of N and P in roots ofnitrogen fixation treatment had a significant relationship , r =- 0. 5816*, but that of nitrate treatment wasnot correlated.
