Abstract:
There have been few reports about molecular marker analy sis of resistance to insect in soybean .Thisstudy w as to determine quantitative trait loci (Q TLs)associated with the soybean resistance to insect (Co ttonWorm)by estimating linkage to simple sequence repeat (SSR)markers.Recombinant inbred lines (RILs)constructed through a cross betw een Wan82 -178 and Tong shanbopihuangdoujia w as used .Larval w eight w as examinedin as index of resistance .Using the interg rated genetic linkage map of soy bean (Cregan et al .1999), wechose 103 SS R markers scattering on 7 linkage g roups (LGs)that had the po tential to map resistant QTL toscreen polymorphic markers betw een Wan82 -178 and To ngshanbopihuangdoujia .It w as found that 18 SSRprimers show ed polymo rphic DNA bands among these RIL lines.Wi th t -test analy sis and analysis of variance ,three markers (Satt135 , Sat t363 , Sat t434)w ere found linked w ith the resistance genes , situat ing on three LGs,i .e .D2 , C2 , and H .The individual ef fect of each marker was reported as R2 value , i .e 5 .57 %, 2 .89 %, and8 .7 % respectively .
