EFFECTS OF VARIOUS SOIL MOISTURE ON THE YIELD OF SOYBEAN(PDF)

Abstract:: In this pot experiment , the soil moisture were controlled by 5 levels , and the effects of the moisture , whichwere controlled in vegetative stage , flowering stage , podding stage and podfilling stage , on soybean yields were studiedrespectively .The results showsed that a long term drought in vegetative stage made soybean yields derease to 19 .62 %-21 .11 % and the water logging to 6 .97 %;the drought in flowering stage to 19 .18 %-27 .26 % and the water logging to14 .9 %;the drought in the podding stage to 23 .80 %-33 .84 % and the water logging to 13 .67 %;the drought in thepodfilling stage to 12 .20 %-40 .59 %and the water logging to 10 .03 %.The results also showed that there were no differanceof soybean yields in the most water logging treatment in every srowing stage .In drought condition , the loss of soybeanyields in different srowing period took turns less to be in podding , flower , vegetative and podfillings stage .
