Abstract:
The responses of P1 , P2 , F2 :3 , and RIL lines to SC -8 strain g roup in the soybean cross of KefengNo .1 ×1138 -2 w ere tested .The result show ed that the resistance to SC -8 in Kefeng No .1 w as cont rolled bya dominant gene w hich w as desig nated as RSC -8 here .It demonstrates that in combining wi th o ther resistancestudies, single dominant gene resistance is a basic genet ic mechanism in the resistance of soybeans to SMVstrains and that Kefeng No .1 is an elite resistance source to multiple soybean mosaic viruses.It could be used insoybean breeding prog rams .
