Abstract:
The content s of total polyphenol and total flavonoids(CPF)w ere determined in 4 cultivars (2 resistant, 2 susceptible)inoculated wi th SMV3 at different stages .The results indicated that (1)CPF in resistantcultivars were higher than CPF in susceptible cultivars w hen they w ere no t inoculated w ith SMV3 ;(2)CPF inresistant cult ivars inoculated w ith SMV3 varied a li ttle as compared w ith those not inoculated w ith SMV3 , CPFin suscept ible cultivars inoculated with SMV3 increased as compared wi th those not inoculated w ith SMV3 , andchanges of CPF displayed dif ferent curves between resistant cultivars and susceptible cultivars ;(3)the compositionof flavonoids in resistant cultivars were same as that in susceptible cultivars .P3 of f lavonoids increased andP4 of flavo rnoids decreased w hen susceptible cultivars w ere inoculated w ith SMV3 .Therefore , the changes ofCPF and composition of f lavonoids can be considered as a physiochemical target to determine resistance of cultivars.
