Abstract:
Transformation of soybean w ith gaga1 was conducted using several accessions includingN2899 ,Tongzhoudou , 95 -7etc .through pollen tube pathw ay .About 3000 seeds w ere obtained from 4300 flowerstreated w ith Ti plasmid pHT T613 .By indirect identification method w ith Kanamycin in the field , 14 plant s obtainedw ere found resistant to Kanamy cin .These 14 plants were examined by PCR w ith NPT Ⅱ and gaga 1 specificprimers .Tw o N2899 plant show ed positive signals .This indicated preliminarily that gaga1 w as integratedinto the genome of the tw o plants .These tw o t ransgenic plants were shorter and had less flowers during fullblooming period , but no obvious modification was found in f lo ral st ructure compared to unt ransformed N2899 .The detailed characterization of t ransgenic plants shall be carried out in further generations .
