Abstract:
Agrobacterium tumefaciens has been used extensively for genetic engineering in soybean , but to date , transformationfrequency of soybean is still low relative to that obtained in other plants .At an attempt to improve transformationefficiency , present experiment was conducted to add two compounds on transformation of cotyledonary nodes in soybeanvia Agrobacterium -mediation .The experiment result indicated that 2mg L proline or 2mg L AgNO3 had the optimal effect on soybean transformation, the GUS gene tansformation rate was increased obviously .
