Abstract:
Organic acids from soybean root secretion and liquid of decomposed root and stem were identified by GC -MS , then allelopathy of those organic acids to seed germination and growth of soybean were conducted with germinatingtest , solution -culture test and chemical analysis .The results showed that 3 -nitro -phthalic acid , 2 -methoxy -benzoicacid , 3 , 4 -dichloro -benzoic acid and cinnamic acid inhibited the seed germination of soybean , which caused lowergermination rates , shorter radicle and less radicle dry weight ;the significant level reached remarkable or high remarkable ;the inhibition level enhanced with the concentration of the organic acids increasing .Those organic acids also inhibitedsoybean young seedling growing in solution -culture in varying degrees , which significantly made plant poor growth ,shorter and less dry matters , and the inhibition level raised with the concentration of those organic acids increasing .
