Abstract:
Soybeans varieties that included no t only resistant DN -9674 and DN -1572 but also suscept ible HN-39 and DN95 -165 ,w ere inoculated with No .1 ,No .2 ,No .4 , No .6 and No .7 races of Cerospora sojina Haraas 3th or 4th leaves , leaves w ere sampled during 1 ~ 10 days after inoculating and the PAL activities in leaves ofboth the inoculated and the healthy plants were measured .The result s show ed that in the late period of diseasedevelopment , the PAL act ivities in leaves of resistant varieties increased and were signif icantly hig her than thosein the healthy leaves of control of corresponding soybean varieties , but the PAL activities in leaves of susceptiblev arieties were obviously lower than those in the healthy leaves of control .Thus the relat ionship betw een the PALactivi ty and the resistance of soybean variety to f rog -eye leaf spot was positive correlation.
