Abstract:
Oospore of Phytophthora sojae can germinate on water ag ar(WA)or on thin coat of soil by culturingone month .On WA it only produced germ tubes .On the coat of soil it germinated germ tubes and spo rangias.The optimum temperature fo r oospore germination w as 18 -24 ℃.Light stimulated germination of oospo res,but rest rained them to produce sporagium .Germination of oospores don’ t need exotexix nut rient .Oospo regermination differed sig nificant ly among dif ferent isolates .
