Abstract:
The investig ation for pollination -related trait s in soy bean cy toplasm -nuclear male -sterile lines andnuclear male-sterile lines showed that no significant difference in density of flower -thrips w as detected betweenmale -fertile and male sterile plants .The opening deg ree of keel petals(ODKP)of male -sterile plants w as biggerthan that of male -fertile plants in a same material .No obvious difference of ODKP w as detected betweenNJCMS1A and NJCMS2A and between N69 -2772(ms2)and N69 -2771 (ms1).N69 -2773(ms3).Outcrossingrate of NJCMS2A w as bigger than of NJCMS1A , w hile the pollen dispersiveness of NJCMS2B happenedto be bet ter than that of NJCMS1B .Similarly , outcrossing rate of malesterile plants of N69 -2772 wasbig ger than that of other tw o nuclear male -sterile lines , w hile the pollen dispersiveness of male -fertile plant sof N69 -2772 also happened to be bet ter than that of other two nuclear male -sterile lines .The stigma viabilityof NJCMS1A could maintain 2 .5 days , and petals could have function to pro tect the stigma viability .Sig nificantdifferences of female fertili ty was detected among BC5.7 families of NJCMS1A and among plants of NJCMS1A ,and the BC5 .7 families w ith bet ter female fertility were screened out .The result s on soybean germplasm show edthat obvious varation w as detected for the t raits of petal size , ODKP , pollen dispersiveness, number of pollensper flow er , density of flow er -thrips .The flowers of G .soja were much smaler than that of G .max , and thepollen dispersiveness of G .soja w as bet ter than that of G .max .No significant dif ference in ODKP and densityof f lower -thrips w as detected betw een G .max and G .soja .And 30 materials w ith better pollen dispersiveness, 16 materals w ith larger ODKP and 4 materials w ith both w ere screened out .
