Abstract:
Chlorophyll content (a +b)were tested in the study of varieties resource over ten years involving 400Northeast spring soybean .The ex periments show that there is a signif icant variance among varieties :the highestis 3 .47mg/dm2 , the lowest is 2 .17mg/dm2 and the average is 2 .62mg/dm2 .Forty soy bean with higherchlorophyll content and y ield were collected for correlation study between chlorophyll content and yield acco rdingto year and maturity .The result show there is a different correlation ex tent in interclass and general trend isposit ive correlation (average co rrelation coefficient of ten years is r =0 .36).The conclusion ex plains leafchlorophyll content in pod period has signif icant effect on yield formation .It will provide indicato r forgermplasm select of breeding to improve ability of photosynthesis as a physiologic index .
