Abstract:
Roo t g row th in monocultural conditions was studied w ith roo t -splitting equipment in a pot experiment.The equipment included tw o equal compartments .The reults show ed that one part of roots g row ing incompartment filled w ith the monocultural soil fumigated w ith methyl bromide was improved .The g row th ofroot s in the compartment filled with monocultural soil w as dependent on the status of the soil in the other compartment.Plant grow th seemed to be sy stematically regulated .
