Abstract:
Seedlings w ith two fully expanded leaves w ere cultivated in 1/2 ’ hoagland’ nut rient solution containing0 , 50 , 100 , 150mmol·L-1 NaCl for 14 day s .Then average percentage of senescenced leaf area and percentageof no rmal seedling were employed as indexes in salt tolerance of 6 soybean cultivars (Glycine max L .Merrill).The evalution of NaCl effect s on the grow th , K+ ,Na+and Cl-dist ribution in seedlings w ere surveyed .The results show ed that , according to their ability of salt tolerance , ”Lee68” and ”Nannong 1138 -2” were ranged as’ strong’ , ”Nannong 88 -31” w as ranged as ’ moderate’ , ” No .1 of Suxie” and ” Jackson” were ranged as ’w eak’ and ”Jiangsu Zhongzi huangdou -yi” was the ’ w eakest’ o ne .Accumulat ion of shoot biomass, height andstem node No .of seedling were reduced dramatically .Ratio of roo ts to shoot s w as increased .Compared to saltsensitive varieties , the leaf of salt tolerance ’ st rong’ varieties w as characterized as st rong selector of K+ , andtheir shoot s and root s were characterized as st rong impediments in upw ard t ransport of Na+and Cl-.
