The character of canopy yield distribution of premature soybean and the correlation of the ratio ofcanopy yield w ith plot yield w ere analyzed .The result s showed that , among the varieties , the ratio of both uppercanopy and low er canopy y ield had significant difference .The rat io of the former and latter wi th the ploty ield show ed positive and negative correlation respectively .So w e can conclude that the ratio of the yield of uppercanopy is important , it should be taken as an index of selection on hig h y ield variety
