Abstract:
The di stribution, si ze and pho tosynthetic properties o f leav es at dif ferent leafposi tio ns of Chinese fasciated stem soy bean were studied under pot and field co ndi tio ns.The resul t show s that the number of leav es o n main stem of fascia ted stem soy bean iso bvio usly larger than ( 2. 2 times) that o f commo n so ybeans. The di st ribution o f leav eso n main stem of fasciated stem soy bean is no t even, wi th mo re leaves o n the upper pa rt.The leav es wi th the greatest pho to sy nthetic ra te a re low er a n po sitio n than those ofcommon soy bean. The upper leav es are smaller and wi th low er pho to sy nthetic rate. Thephotosy nthetic phy siological pro perties of leaves on the same v ertici l a re al so dif ferent.
