Abstract:
Two soy bean va rieties, Suinong8 and Do ng no ng 42, susceptible toPseudomonas sy ringea pv . glycinea ( PSG) , a nd tw o soybean va rieties , Heinong 37 andHeino ng 38, resi stant to PSG , w ere grow n in the greenhouse . Th ey were inoculated w ithRace- 1 and Race- 4 respectiv ely a t the first t rifoliola te stage. The no nino culatedplants w ere used as co nt rol. The first t rifoliola te leav es w ere taken fo r biochemicalanalysis af ter inocula tion f rom the second da y to the seventh day. The result show edthat the co ntent o f the so luble protein ro se at fi rst and then dropped later in susceptibleva rieties, but the content o f the soluble protein dropped at fi rst, and then rose inresi stant v arieties af ter ino culatio n wi th PSG.The co ntent of the to tal sug ar in no n- inoculated plant s is higher in the susceptiblethan that in the resistant v arieties. After inocula tio n, the co ntent of the to tal suga rdropped, and dropped mo re g reat ly af ter inoculatio n wi th Race- 1 than Race- 4 insusceptible varieties. The co ntent o f the to tal suga r rose and rose mo re great ly af terinoculation wi th Race- 1 than Race- 4 in resi stant v arieties.
