Abstract:
The ef fects o f PPJ a nd SFE on stomata and epicuticular w ax and the ethy leneproductio n and Mn2+ abso rption o f soybea n leav es hav e been studied systematically.Wi th the concent ra tion o f surfactant s increasing , the stoma tal aperture w as graduallyincreased and then decreased, reaching the max imum w hen the concent ra tion of PPJ andSFE w as 0. 5mmo l /L a nd 1. 0mmol /L respectiv ely. The area o f the epicuticula r w axdi ssolv ed w ould be increased i rrev ersibly wi th the a pplied co ncent ratio n increasing. Theethylene productio n w ould be increased o nly when the concent ra tion of PPJa nd SFE w ashigher than 1mmol /L and 10mmo l /L respectively. Mn2+ abso rption was directlypropor tional to the si ze of stomatal a perture. The result s show ed tha t PPJ and SFEcould adjust in dif ferent deg ree to the stoma tal mov ement and epicuticular w axdi ssolutio n a nd ethylene production and Mn2+ abso rption.
