Abstract:
Soybean Molecula r Biolog y Laboratory at Institute of Crop Germplasm ResourcesCAAS, has been carrying on sev eral research pro jects including the molecular tagging important genes, g enetic diversity of g ermplasm and markers assisted selectio n in soybean duringthe ninth- fiv e- year. So far, the PCR marker has been identified to be associated wi thsalt tolerant gene in soybean, which w as applied for patent in China. The impo rtantprog ress also has been made in identification of molacular markers associated with SMV resistantg ene, ev aluation genetic div ersity fo r soybean germplasm, application of molecularma rkers in soybean breeding and g enerating nov el germplasms.
