Abstract:
This paper i s a rev iew about relatio nship between so ybean photosy nthetic ra te( PR) and yield. Th e objectiv e is to promo te the prog ress on high PR breeding of soybean. It indicated tha t there w ere ei ther posi tive o r neg ativ e or even no relationship between them. It also showed that facto rs under special co ndi tio ns affected and caused thefalse phenomena w ith no o r neg ativ e interrelatio nship.It fur ther indicated that yield mainly depended on PR but the ex tent was affected byphysio logical metaboli za tion and env iromental factors. The interaction of such factorsmade the rela tionship complica ted. The autho r clari fied the target s of the high PRbreeding and disag reed the opinion that w ere no of neg ative interrelatio n betw een pho tosynthesisand yield.
