Abstract:
Dynamic chang es in activi ties o f phenylalanine ammo nia lyase ( PAL) , pero xida se( POD) , superox ide dismutase ( SOD) and catalase ( CAT) w ere tested wi th leav es of resistant a nd susceptible soy bean cultiv ars during infectio n by SMV - a. The resul ts suggested that a t the early stag e of infection PAL a nd POD activi ties o f resista nt so ybeancultiva r ( Kefeng- 1) increased rapidly , SOD and CA T activ ities decreased dramatically.On the o ther hand, the chang es o f PO D w ere relativ ely smal ler in leav es of susceptiblesoybean cultiv ars ( 1138- 2 a nd Xudo u- 1) , SOD and CAT activ ities show ed an increaseand PAL activ ities o f 1138- 2 declined.
