Abstract:
The rate of Cercospora kik uchii g row th was the fa stest o n PDA. The amount ofspo rula tion increased about 2 times o n soybea n leav es gluco seagar o r tomato ag ar thano n PDA. The temperature fo r the g row th and spo rula tion o f the pathog en w as 18-35℃ , wi th o ptimum of 25- 28℃ . Complete darkness fav oured g row th and sporulatio n.The pH v alues from pH 4 to 9, wi th optimun pH7 fo r g row th and pH7- 8 for sporulation.Co nidia of Cercospora kikuchii g ermina ted best in agar w ater. The g erminationtempera ture rang ed 15- 40℃ , w ith an o ptimum o f 30- 33℃ . Darkness fav oured theg ermina tion o f co nidia. pH7- 8 was the optimum.
