Abstract:
The chromosome st ructure aberratio n o f soybean w as indi rectly identified by checkingthe percentag e o f serile pollen g rains in F1 plant s f rom cro sses betw een 411 accessions of soybea n collected f rom various regions in China and cultiv ated so ybeans w ithno rmal chromo some. The result s show ed that the f requencies of ch romosome translocation,inv ersion a nd the normal chromo some of wild soy bean ( including semi- wild soybean) w ere 73. 3% , 7. 4% and 19. 3% respectiv ely. The f requencies of chromosomet ranslocatio n, inv ersion a nd the no rmal chromo some o f cul tiv ated so ybean ( including semi- cultiv ated soy bean) w ere 4. 7% ( all are semi- cultiv ated) , 1. 7% and 93. 6% respectively. The chromo some stucture aberration f requencies of di fferent ev olutio narylevel soy bean was di fferent. As the evo lution lev el o f the tested accessio ns w as increasedthe f requency of translocatio n decreased. In general , the chromo some t ransloca tio n f requencyof wi ld soybea n in China w as high and the hig hest ones a ppeared in Hebei andHenan provinces. The f requencies w ere also higher in Nei Mengg u and Jilin provinces.The low er f requency was located in coastal regio ns, including Jiang su and Zhejiangprovinces. The chromosome inversio n f requency was higher in Liao ning , Heilo ng jia ng ,Zhejia ng , Jiang su a nd Henan provinces.
