The resul t indicated that thepod of narrow leaflet v arieties w ere coo perated w ith 3- seed pod a nd 4- seed pod, w hilethe pod of broad leaf let lines w ith 3- seed and 2- seed pod. The mean seed number perpod w as 2. 94 seeds and 2. 4 to 2. 64 seeds in the narrow and broad leaf v arieties ( lines) ,respectiv ely.
