Abstract:
The resista nces to seed deterio ratio n of 10 soybea n and wild so ybean genotypesw ere tested by methods of methano l st ress, high temperature and humidi ty acceleratedaging. The result indicated that seeds of all of five w ild soy bean g eno ty pes keeped hig hervig o rs than seeds o f soy bean g eno ty pes. Observa tio ns by elect ron micro scope show edthat there are thicker, more tigh tly rang ed palisade cells and smaller germpo res on seedcoats of wi ld soybea n g eno ty pes than that of so ybean genotypes. It i s w hy w ild so ybeang eno ty pes hav e higher resista nce to seed deterio ra tion than cultiv ated so ybean genotypes.
