Abstract:
Chlo ro phyll co ntent pho to sy nth etic ra te and soluble to tal sug ar co ntent per pla nt atR1 , R3 and R5 g row th stag es of suseptable pla nt s w ere low er tha n those of heal thy plantsaf ter inoculated w ith SMV3. The result s indicated that accumulatio n of photosy ntheticproduct s w as decreased af ter infected by SMV, and the amo unt of photosy ntheticpreducts alloca ted to di fferent o rg ans w ere al l reduced apparently, biological yield decreasedas dai ly dry mat ter and accumulating rate became low er. Decrease o f bio logicalyield may be the main reason o f seed yield lo ss in pla nt s infected by SMV.
