Abstract:
The result s of test o f 4 yea rs indicated tha t the mea n g orw th perio d duratio n ofDong nong 79- 64- 5 soybea n st rain w as 118± 5 days under ecological condition of hig hal titude and cold Xining. The Sowing date shi ft to an earlier time w o uld result the prolonga tio n o f i ts emerg ence date and the emerg ence to the blossom da te. The rapidest grow th speed of the stems and leav es w ere around 60 days emerg ence. The rapidestspeed of increase of f resh and dry w eigh t of plant s w as 80 days af ter emerg ence. Po dsset ting started around 70 days af ter emerg ence. The maximum plant height , main stemdiameter, leav es area, pod number, f resh and dry weight per pla nt achiev ed 90 day s afteremerg ence. Heref ter rapidly come into slow g row th and gradual matura tion. Thehighest yield per mu was 152kg.
