Abstract:
Ef fect of sho rt day leng th o n va ria tion of F2 soy bean po pula tio n w as studied and theprocedure and metho d fo r wide ada ptatio n g ermplasm breeding w ere discussed in thispaper. The resul ts show ed tha t va ria tion in F2 was v aried in different crosses af ter sho rtdayleng th induction. Ve - R8 period, pla nt heigh t and nodes of stem can be applied inphotoperiodical breeding as identi fica tion t rait s. Ha 91- 7116, Ha 92- 4465 and Ha 92- 4498 w ere dev elo ped a s photoperiod insensi tiv e germplasms.
