Abstract:
The y oung co tyledo n soybean ca llus tissues w ere cultured in the di fferent co ncentrationNaCl medium. Fo r fiv e genera tions, the co ntents o f protein, amino and so lublesug ar of soybea n callus ti ssue w ere measured. The resul t show ed tha t co ntent s of proteinand amino o f ca llus ti ssue under salt stress w ere higher tha n those of co ntro l. Solublesug ar content w as low er than tha t of cont ro l. Except in 0. 15% NaCl, the co ntentso f protein and amino were increased wi th increase of NaCl co ncent ratio n. The accumulationo f proline in 0. 07% NaCl medium w as 2. 72 times hig her tha n in co ntro l. Thecha ng es of proline, alanine, arginine a nd histidine w ere dif ferent f rom the chang e of totalamino under sal t st ress.
