Abstract:
The g enetic parameters about cor relation, reg ression, genetic g ain and selectio n indexw ere tested a nd estimated betw een seeds yield and respectiv e main ag ro nomic charactersof soybean ( G.max ) under intercropping wi th mai ze. The result s show ed thatreg ressio n and co rrela tio n of yield per plot wi th other 9 characters w as posi tiv e ex ceptthat i t w as nega tiv ely related fo r 100- seed w eig ht. Six of nine characters ( number ofnodes of main stem, plant heig ht , blooming date, number of ef fectiv e bra nches, numbero f pods per plant , number o f seeds per plant ) , theirs genetic cor relation coef ficient w ithyield w ere sig ni fica nt of highly sig ni ficant. These characters also caused seed yield ofhav e g rea ter co rrelation g enetic g ain ( CGSy ) . Amo ng three selectio n metho ds o f yield,index selectio n was adv antageous over bo th co rrela tion selectio n and di rect selectio n.Al though, in cer tain ra ng e, there was improv ed tendency of g enetic g ain o f selectio n index( CGS ’y ) alo ng wi th the increa se of number o f selective factors, yet in some simplecomprehensive selectio n containing only 2 or 3 facto rs, bo th CGS ’y a nd selectiv e effectw o uld be as large as mul tiple facto r selectio n.
